ARRA Funding will Support Expanded Out-of-School Programs at Clemente Middle School

Roberto Clemente Middle School will expand out-of-school time programs in the spring and summer 2010 via American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding from the Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs (DHCA).  DHCA has contracted with the Collaboration Council to strengthen the partnership between the school, Recreation Department’s RecExtra program, Upcounty Regional Services Center and community providers.  Based on student interest survey results and school-identified academic support needs, providers were asked to submit letters of interest in early January with programming scheduled to begin in February.  A process seeking providers for summer will occur in early Spring.  To express your organization’s interest in delivering services this summer, contact Tracey Webb at tracey.webb@collaborationcouncil.org
